DigiScope Tip Service: Terms of Service

Effective date: October 26, 2026

1. Who we are

1.1 The DigiScope tip service (the "Service") is operated by Around The Block LLC ("we", "us", "our"). The person responsible for the operator is Mark McNiel, who is on X as @Johnny_DGB.

1.2 The Service runs through the X account @DigiScope_Me and related pages on digiscope.me.

1.3 The Service is independent. We do not claim it is an official DigiByte service.

1.4 To contact us, see section 17.

2. Agreeing to these Terms

2.1 By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2.2 You are responsible for your X account and for everything done through it.

3. Who may use the Service

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old.

3.2 You must be legally allowed to use a service like this where you live. If it is not allowed where you live, do not use the Service.

3.3 You may not use the Service if the law prohibits you from doing so, including under sanctions laws.

4. What the Service is

4.1 The Service lets people send small amounts of DGB, the DigiByte coin, to each other as tips. You can send a tip by posting a tip command that mentions @DigiScope_Me on X. You can also use our website.

4.2 To send a tip you need a DigiScope account with your X account linked to it, and enough balance to cover the tip.

4.3 After a tip, the Service may post a public reply on X. The reply can name the sender and the recipient. It can show the amount.

4.4 A recipient who does not have a DigiScope account may be tagged in the reply. They did not ask to be tagged.

4.5 We may add, change or remove features at any time.

5. AI and automation disclosure

5.1 The @DigiScope_Me account is automated. It is not a person typing each post.

5.2 The Service uses an AI model to write some replies and posts. Other replies, such as tip confirmations and error messages, may use set templates.

5.3 AI generated text can be wrong, out of date or unsuitable. Do not rely on it.

5.4 Replies and posts may be published without review by a person.

5.5 Nothing the account posts is advice of any kind.

6. How balances work

6.1 The Service keeps your balance for you. Balances are held by the operator on your behalf. A balance is not a bank account.

6.2 Your balance is an entry in our own records, called a ledger. It is not a wallet in your name. You do not hold the keys.

6.3 The DGB behind the balances is kept in a wallet that we control. You cannot access that wallet.

6.4 Tips between DigiScope users are changes to our ledger. They may not appear on the blockchain.

6.5 Balances are not covered by deposit insurance. We do not promise interest or returns.

6.6 If our systems are hacked, fail or lose data, or if we cannot pay our debts, you could lose some or all of your balance. Only keep an amount you can afford to lose.

7. Deposits

7.1 To add DGB to your balance you send DGB to the deposit address and use the deposit code shown for your account.

7.2 A deposit is credited after the network has confirmed it enough times. We decide how many confirmations are needed. This can take time.

7.3 If you leave out the code, use the wrong code or send to the wrong address, your deposit may not be matched to you. It may be delayed. It may be lost.

7.4 Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. A mistaken deposit is your risk.

8. Tips

8.1 A tip is final once it is sent. We cannot take it back, except where section 8.3 says otherwise.

8.2 Minimum amounts apply to tips. If a tip is outside the limits, the Service may tell you.

8.3 If the recipient does not have a DigiScope account, we may do one of two things. We may send the tip directly on the blockchain to a DigiByte address shown in their public X profile. Or we may hold the tip for a limited time and return it to you if it is not claimed. A tip sent to an address on the blockchain cannot be returned.

8.4 A recipient does not have to claim a tip.

8.5 You agree that your X handle, the recipient's handle and the amount of a tip may be shown publicly.

9. Withdrawals

9.1 You can ask to withdraw your balance to a DigiByte address you give us. A minimum amount applies.

9.2 You may need a verified account to withdraw. Verified means you have linked a supported social account, or we have approved your account.

9.3 Daily limits and waiting periods may apply to withdrawals. If a withdrawal is outside the limits, the Service may tell you.

9.4 Withdrawals are processed in batches. We do not promise how long a withdrawal will take.

9.5 We can change minimums, limits and waiting periods at any time.

9.6 We may delay, limit, pause or refuse a withdrawal for security, abuse, technical or legal reasons.

9.7 A withdrawal sent to a wrong address cannot be recovered. Check every address before you confirm.

10. Fees

10.1 Network fees apply to transactions on the DigiByte blockchain.

10.2 Fees, if any, are shown before you confirm. We may add or change fees in the future.

11. Acceptable use

11.1 You may not use the Service to:

  • a. send spam, harassment or abuse;
  • b. run scams or commit fraud;
  • c. launder money or fund anything illegal;
  • d. avoid limits, checks or other controls, including by using more than one account;
  • e. attack, overload or interfere with the Service or other users;
  • f. run your own automated tools against the Service without our permission; or
  • g. break any law or the rules of X.

11.2 We may remove content and end access if you break these Terms.

12. Not financial advice, and our interest in DGB

12.1 Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Nothing is an offer or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

12.2 The operator runs DigiScope and holds DGB. We may gain or lose when the price of DGB changes.

12.3 You are responsible for your own taxes on tips and any gains.

13. Risks

13.1 Crypto assets are volatile. You can lose money.

13.2 Blockchain transactions are irreversible.

13.3 The Service, X, our servers or the DigiByte network may be slow, down or wrong at any time, with or without notice. Errors can happen, including in balances, amounts and replies.

13.4 We do not promise that the Service will be available, error free or uninterrupted. We do not promise any tip, withdrawal, price or result.

14. Suspension and ending the Service

14.1 We may freeze, limit or close an account, or reverse activity that we believe is abusive or breaks these Terms.

14.2 We may change, pause or end the Service at any time. If we end it, we may give notice so that you can withdraw your balance, but we do not promise notice or any time period. We may act at once for security or legal reasons.

14.3 You may stop using the Service at any time. Withdraw your balance first.

15. Disclaimers and limits of liability

15.1 The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non infringement.

15.2 To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for lost profits, lost data or lost opportunity.

15.3 To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims about the Service is limited to the greater of 100 US dollars and the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

15.4 We are not liable for events outside our control. This includes outages or changes at X, our hosting providers, our AI provider, or the DigiByte network.

15.5 Some places do not allow some of these limits. In those places, our liability is limited as far as the law allows.

16. Other services and changes to these Terms

16.1 The Service works with X and other third party services. Your use of X is covered by X's own terms and rules. We are not responsible for them.

16.2 We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted at aroundtheblock.us with a new effective date. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new Terms.
